KAYABA Ammortizators???

Gionnik: KYB Excel-G is quite soft and comfortable. If you got brand new stock car, it has very soft SAAZ shock absorbers installed. They surely are not good and does not work for a long time, so that it would be good to replace them.

в кратце: вопрос был, какие каябы поставить, чтобы было пожестче, но не совсем некомфортно. Я ответил, что Excel-G достаточно мягки и комфортны, и если у него новая машина (в подписи 2005г), то там стоят саазы, которые плохи и долго все равно не живут.

Gionnik +1 You're absolutely right choosing among different KYB. I'd recommend you KYB Gas-a-Just shock absorbers. Their quality and driving performance is ultimate, I've been using them in a quite intensive manner for about 2 years and they are still in excellent working conditions. They dramatically change the performance of the car, so I've been thinking it was another car for a month after I installed them.

Gionnik +1 Правильно, делаешь, что между Каябами выбираешь. Я бы тебе порекомендовал KYB Gas-A-Kust. Они сочетают в себе качество изготовления и отличную производительность, я их пользую и в хвост, и в гриву уже 2 года и они до сих пор ОК. Эти амо здорово улучшают поведение машины, я думал что езжу на другой машине в течение месяца после установки

Having understood that the stock shockabsorbers are to be replaced, wich of the two Kayaba models you suggest me guys???
Excel-G (soft and cheaper) or Gas-a-Just ( harder than the Excel-G but not as hard as the Ultra-SR and more professional than the Excel-G)???
The dealer (wich is specialized on NIVAs) told me that Excel-G must be my choiche if I dont't race off road and Gas-a-Just is too hard.

I would like to make the best choiche for my needs wich are "Urban Off-Road" and medium off road so the car is not too hard but not too soft as the stock one. What is your opinion???

Дилер, что спец. на Нивах, говорит, что Excel-G - То,что надо, Gas-a-Just слишком жёсткие.
Я делаю выбор для машины, предназначенной для города/тротуаров и легкого оффа. Что выбрать-то?

Gionnik Gas-a-Just are hard only when it's required, in other words, their behaviour is adaptive. They allow to drive at higher speeds (up to 20-40 kph), especially on road turns.
About Niva dealers: don't trust all these managers, they often don't even know what they speaking about (there were a lot of threads in this forum on this topic)

Gas-a-just жёсткие тогда, когда это необходимо, короче, они ведут себя адаптивно. Они позволяют гонять на больших скоростях (20-40 км/ч), особенно на поворотах.
Про дилеров: да не верь ты особенно всем этим манагерам в салонах, они часто даже не знают, о чём говорят (в форуме было много тредов про это)

Gionnik: What's better is a question of personal preferences. A lot of people here uses Excel-G and happy with it. I've installed ones too but i have not found them hard enough for Niva Surely it's personal preference - i'm not looking for comfort at all and drive rather crazy...

The best choiche seems Gas-a-Just!

Is 5000 RUB a good price for 4 shock absorbers and 500 RUB a good price for istallation?

Just got Gas-A-Just installed!
The car is not too hard and it turns much better.
I think the car is safer too.
It looks like the car is higher front and back but a bit more in the front; getting a diffrent balance probably the handling got better.

Full test to be done but very happy for the modification.

Только поставил Gas-a-Just!
Машина не слишком жёсткая и поворачивает значительно лучше.
Думаю, безопаснее стала.
Похоже за счёт амо появился лифт, спереди побольше; после изменения баланса, возможно, стала лучше рулиться.

Полный тест впереди, однако уже сейчас очень доволен.

Мой ответ: небольшой (1-2 см) лифт после установки Каяб в порядке вещей. Оттягивайся.
