Some beach of Ionian sea!!!!

A small island inside golf of Astakos!!!

Astakos city.West of Athens, 340 Km.Ionian sea


... A cow on the road. At this area there are many free domesticated animals on the road (goats-cows-sheep-pigs). Very dangerous area to drive at night!!!!

... My small .... hairy daughter!!!!



I visited and a monastery of Virgin lady 110 Km of Astakos city (PROUSSOS) and altitude 900m.

You put a lot of extra spaces. For example, you write:

A need was thus:
(URL=http://img844.imageshack.us/i/astakos2010052.jpg/)(img)http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/7637/astakos2010052.th.jpg(/img)(/URL)
But I replaced "" on "()".

Right now I have a slow GPRS, so I looked only a preview.

Duaring my holidays in Greece (i`s there 5 times or so) I saw lots of cars "Lada Niva" there (Athens, Loutraki, Rio, Delfi, Naplion, Corinth canal, Peloponnesus, Crete, Rodos and Simi islandes, etc.)
But i haven`t known about http://www.nivaclub.gr/forum/ in Greece yet.

In the rent cars companies i didn`t saw Lada Niva in Greece [:no] There was only one type of 4x4 car - > Suzuki Jimny [:bullhorn]
So "Kiss of the 2 seas on Crete & Rodos", all Famouse Monasteries & Churches & the others places of interest were seen by me with using corolla & walking there

As far as i understood it wasn`t impossible to rent niva in Greece [:)]
I wanted to do it twice (Rodos&Simi, Loutraki) [:)]

Honestly I crossed just all Greece by rented cars (toyota corolla, suzuki jimny,herz, etc.) and saw many Greek islandes (stayed there & had voyages from Rodos - > Simi ... on both Ferry boats Dodekanisos expres & pride )...

It must be the tradition to spend our (me & my wife) holidays in Greece [:)]
So it might be happened in 2011 year ...
We gonna visit Greece to look at Athens, Meteory, Delfi, Rio, Sparta, Loutraki again. Maybe we devide our holidays ... First part - driving by car around Peloponnesus plus one island (forgot it`s name - Zakinf, Zakintos ...), last part - nearby Loutraki to drink mineral water there [:)]

I see you`re from Athens (information from u nickname) ? If i`m right i`ll send u e-mail when we wanna visit u amazing country.

Приветствую, друзья из Греции! Я вместе со своей семьей через десять дней планирую посетить греческий остров Корфу. Нужна Ваша помощь. Есть следующие вопросы:
1) Как выглядит знак «стоянка запрещена» и на что, на какое расстояние он распространяется?
2) Какие еще есть запрещающие знаки и а какого их действие?
3) Какие существуют наказания, штрафы за нарушения?
4) Какой лимит скорости на загородных дорогах и в населенных пунктах?
5) Если я беру автомобиль на прокат, то нужно ли его оборудовать детскими креслами (дети: 2 года и 5 лет) ?
6) Нужны ли права международного образца, чтобы арендовать авто на острове или достаточно водительского удостоверения с дублированным текстом на французском языке?
7) Где я могу скачать подробные карты острова Корфу для того чтобы распечатать на бумаге и карты в электронном виде для загрузки в навигатор?

ЗЫ: Перевода всех слов на знаю, поэтому просьба к нивоводам с хорошим английским, перевести текст выше. Если не получится, то попробую завтра со словарем перевести... ... если время будет.

1) How does the sign "no parking" and what, how far does it spread?
2) What are some signs and prohibit and what their effect?
3) What are the penalties and fines for violations?
4) What is the speed limit on country roads and in the settlements?
5) If I take a car, whether it is a children's chairs (children 2 years and 5 years)?
6) Do I need a sample of international law in order to rent a car on the island, or a driver's license is sufficient to duplicate the text in French?
7) Where can I download a detailed map of the island of Corfu in order to print on paper and in electronic format for download from the navigator?
